Thanks for sharing your cozy little cabin with us. Felt welcome right from the start. The whole family loved the hikes and the trips down to the Spit to watch the seals play in the water at dusk. Can't wait to come back !

We absolutely loved our stay here. A fantastic place to "get away from it all". We'll definitely be back.

Thanks for a very relaxing weekend. Simon and I really enjoy getting out of Vancouver for some R & R and your cabin is the perfect place! We love that we can "check-out" late when our ferry left at 7pm ! It makes the dayon the Island that much more enjoyable.
Thanks,
Ian & Simon
ps Thanks for showing us your vintage motorbikes.

I spent close to 2 weeks in the Little Log Cabin and it was as perfect as everyone has previously written. Perfectly clean, comfortable and made extra cozy by the wood stove. Great waterview from the seating area and hot tub. I didn't have a vehicle but it only took 45 minutes to walk to the commercial area with grocery store, liquor store, bakery and great Japanese restaurant. Part of the Island culture is that drivers offer rides to walkers. Special car stops exist to facilitate riders. The cabin is a 10 minute walk to the trailhead for a half hour hike to the beautiful viewpoint on Mount Norman.

A perfect place to quietly ring in the New Year! We were all a little under the weather so we ended up mostly inside, but it was the perfect cabin for relaxing & reading. Our boys loved the hot tub. Kaleb and Leigh loved the lantern festival. We will most definely return. We have been on the look out for a cabin that we love enough to continue to return to - we have found it! Thank you Jim & Sandy for a wonderful retreat. And Happy New Year!

What a wonderful place to spend our Christmas! Was very cozy and especially loved soaking in the hot tub with a gorgeous view. The island scenery was beautiful, despite the December rain, wind and coolness. Thanks for the tour of your toyshop Jim, and allowing Schnitzel to to be part of one of the most memorable Christmases yet! Happy New Year to you, Jim & Sandy. All the best in 2013, and we look forward to our next visit to this wonderful paradise you have shared with us!

Being our first introduction to the Gulf Islands, this "Lil Log Cabin" was just what we were looking for. The majestic cedars & delicate ferns surround the beautiful hand built cabin overlooking Port Browning. We enjoyed almost all of the scenic hikes with Mount Norman being the most spectacular of all. Kayaking around around Port Browning was indeed a treat for us from Alberta. The "Lil Log Cabin" provides everything needed for a welcoming & relaxing stay. The complimentary bottle of wine and hot tub eased our weary muscles after hiking and kayaking around the Island. Our Gracious hosts Jim & Sandy kindly invited us to stay an extra day to take in the Fall Fair and we were so glad we did. We throurouly enjoyed hearing Jim's Pipe Band & taking in what a fair should be. As a whole what more could one want from a vacation!!

Thank you for your hospitality! You live in a very beautiful part of the world! We enjoyed Pender - so much to do. We biked, hiked, kayaked, golfed, disc golfed, and enjoyed numerous beautiful beach access points on the island. The deck at the pub is a great place for a beer. Hot tub was also appreciated. And last but not least, we enjoyed hearing your pipe band.
